(27 Mar '21) The KFS Radio Club has been issued the callsign W6KFS.
(6 Oct '21) Separate Kiwi receivers are now available on all four TCI antennas.

(21 July '22) Users of the CatSync program may find that it can't parse the 1 Hz tuning display resolution on this WebSDR: Add "?10hz" to the URL to force display of 10 Hz tuning, as in "http://websdr1.kfsdr.com:8901/?10hz". More URL-based commands may be found here.

(13 Dec '22) Computer replaced! The server for the WebSDR was swapped in its entirety with new hardware to resolve the issue of USB ports failing on the plug-in cards. The only difference that you (the user) should see is that the 15 meter receiver is working again!
(9-10 Jan '23) Related to ongoing weather events there have been frequent, long power outages. This is preventing effective battery charging so the UPS can't do its job, causing all gear to go up and down frequently during these outages - something that is never good for network gear and computers!
(14 Jan '23) Despite it being a weekend, a site visit was arranged during which it was possible to diagnose and fix on-site problems. Connectivity issues remain so expect occasional audio drop-outs as the ISP works to recover from damage to its infrastructure during the recent storms.
(17 Jan '23) A hardware "glitch" in the 20 meter receiver caused it to see only part of the band - a reboot was necessary to reset it and restore full coverage.
