(1 May '22) KFS is experiencing problems with its Internet provider that, at times, is causing intermittent audio drop-outs. We are working on a solution to this issue, but in the short term the audio buffer default has been set to 500ms. We thank you for your patience and support!
(21 July '22) Users of the CatSync program may find that it doesn't properly parse the 1 Hz tuning display resolution on this WebSDR. A work-around may be done by adding "?10hz" to the URL to force display of 10 Hz tuning, as in "http://websdr1.kfsdr.com:8901/?10hz". More URL-based commands may be found here.
(27 July '22) Users of Firefox now need to press the "Firefox/Mozilla Audio Start" button as of version 103: For more information, go to the Firefox Audio Fix page.
(7 Sep '22) Thank you to KK6PGA, WA6ZVE, WA2QB, KH6PXM, AH6BS, K6CES, W6ACC and KN6KBS for their recent donations.
(22 Oct '22) KFS was offline due to an on-site power failure - the 15 meter receiver did not recover and is offline pending replacement of computer hardware.
